What is Bio Suisse?
The Bio Suisse standards are based on private law guidelines that exceed the minimum legal requirements of regulations such as the EU Eco-Regulation. For non-Swiss operations, achieving certification is essential for meeting the demands of Swiss customers. A prerequisite is a valid organic certification equivalent to the Swiss Ordinance on Organic Farming.

A2A2 milk is positioned as “milk as it is meant to be,” offering a fresh and natural product that is a source of calcium. The certification allows producers to demonstrably meet specific customer requirements by providing a distinct choice for consumers. To qualify, milk must originate from cows that are 100% tested for the A2A2 gene and are given natural feed. The milk’s taste and appearance remain identical to conventional milk, requiring no different processing methods.
