Peterson Control Union is looking for a Global Tax Compliance Expert to join our Group Tax team. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening and coordinating tax compliance and reporting activities across our international organization.
As Global Tax Compliance Expert, you will support the Global Head of Tax in ensuring compliance with an increasingly complex global tax landscape. You will take ownership of key international tax reporting obligations, coordinate compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, and work closely with local finance teams worldwide to ensure that tax obligations are met accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented tax professional. You are a proactive self-starter who enjoys a role that requires both technical expertise and great coordination, communication and persuasion skills. Job requirements
- Prepare and manage Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) filings and public CbCR disclosures.
- Prepare Global Information Return (GIR), Income Inclusion Rule (IIR) returns, and Qualified Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (QDMTT) returns for designated jurisdictions.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of QDMTT returns across remaining jurisdictions.
- Oversee and coordinate Pillar Two and CbCR notification requirements globally.
- Monitor global tax compliance obligations, with a focus on Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings and transfer pricing documentation.
- Review tax provisions and tax reporting.
- Manage DAC6 reporting obligations and related compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update the Group Master File and Dutch Local Files.
- Collaborate with business and finance teams to ensure intercompany transactions comply with transfer pricing policies.
- Monitoring changes in relevant tax laws, regulations and guidance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax compliance processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
Profile
- A degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in international tax compliance, either in-house or within a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and tax accounting.
- Experience and/or affinity with CbCR, Pillar Two and DAC compliance and reporting.
- A track record showing capability to master new (tax) legislation and regulations.
- A structured and organized working style with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Available 24 – 32 hours a week.
