Portable access equipment inspections

Ladders, step ladders, and mobile scaffold towers must be demonstrably safe in order to reduce the risk of injury and operational downtime. Periodic inspections identify defects in good time, allowing measures to be taken before unsafe situations occur. Control Union carries out inspections on site, including digital reporting and registration of all equipment. Scheduling is aligned with daily operations, keeping the impact on your business to a minimum.

Inspections in accordance with recognised guidelines

Control Union inspects ladders and step ladders in accordance with NEN 2484, and mobile scaffold towers in accordance with NEN-EN 1004. Our inspectors combine these guidelines with up-to-date expertise and practical experience to assess the safety, condition, and suitability of access equipment. Multi-skilled inspectors can combine these inspections with inspections of other work equipment, such as lifting and hoisting equipment and fall protection equipment. This reduces mobilisations and operational disruption. All findings are recorded in clear reports and registered in the online portal, ensuring the status of your equipment remains visible at all times.
